Walter Whale Shark & Book

The parents who received this for their child said he wasn't previously a stuffed
animal love but was carrying the whale around constantly. They all loved it!

When I want a SPECIAL gift, something REALLY well presented and perfect, not another thought enters my brain except OLIVE AND COCOA! And here is why!

My grandson is almost three, a very clever, inquisitive boy who believes he can learn every single fact in the world. The wooden box arrived and was opened immediately. A very excited little boy screamed with excitement but little did he know how really fantastic this gift was to be!

AND THERE IT WAS in the box! A beautiful BOOK filled with gorgeous art work and a lot of interesting facts! The whale shark was hugged. But it was the BOOK with which he was most impressed! However, the stuffed animal along WITH the book makes for a perfect gift for any child around three or up and especially children who are leaning toward liking sponging up as many facts as they can!

My daughter realized how this sweet little one NEEDED her attention. He wanted the book read to him EIGHT times (EIGHT TIMES!) straight without leaving the couch.

And this sweet, darling daughter, an OB-GYN, is expecting a daughter in late October. She said she cried when she realized that reading the book eight times straight was a very, very precious time with her son. Afterward, she suddenly realized that that scene will probably never be repeated again as her life grows even more hectic with the new baby about here along with her high stress profession.

Was the book a "hit"? You betcha! Some ten or so nights later, he is STILL actually sleeping with the BOOK! The soft whale shark just compliments the whole scene every night!

We sent the book and stuffed whale to our one-year old sweetheart, Alice, in Alaska. She loved the crinkled paper in the box! Her mother lives the book, The Big Blue. Alice will grow up loving all of it!

Walter the Whale Shark swam into my five year old grandson's life a few weeks ago, and was lovingly adopted as a new addition to a variety of stuffed animals. Consistent with his size, Walter with his plethora of charming spots, is a wonderfully whimsical rendition of the largest specimen in the shark species.
